Worship
at Trinity is rooted in Holy Scripture and the
Book of Common
Prayer. Our worship honors the catholic faith as preserved
in the liturgy of the Anglican Church. We center our worship around
Biblical preaching and the celebration the Holy Eucharist, our weekly
remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for us and wherein we "receive the most
precious Body and Blood" of our Lord Jesus Christ (BCP p.336).
We
celebrate the liturgy in a reverential manner, mindful of the intrinsic
dignity of the house of God. We also desire our worship to reflect the
"joy of the Lord" that comes from remembering God's grace, receiving the
outpouring of the Spirit, and worshiping in the beauty of holiness.
But reverence doesn't
mean stuffy and we enjoy our worship and have fu n
doing it. In addition to our regular choir we have two
children's choirs that lead the congregation in worship from time to time.
We are a "kid-friendly" church that seeks to make our worship welcoming
for all.
