FROM THE RECTOR
On Tuesday morning, Kathy and I were talking and thanking God for the wonderful blessing that Vacation Bible school continues to be for this parish. This year is even bigger than last year and people are amazed at both the number of attendees and the substance of what we offer. Pray for big things, but even if our work brings just one person to the Lord, than it is all worth it. A special thank you and "yee-haw" to all of you who have given your time so generously to minister to these children and to each other. Don't forget to join us on Friday at 6:30 pm in the church to watch the children show their stuff and to join us for a reception following.
Speaking of ministry please note that we are in need of painters for the next several weekends as we get ready for our fall program and Sunday School. If you'd like to help, please plan to be here at 9 am Saturday morning to lend a hand. Email me and let me know you are coming.
Finally, First Baptist Church in Red Bank will be hosting a Men's Conference on September 18th from 8:30 - 1 pm and I've been asked to lead one of the breakout sessions. Please see below for more information.
See you in Church!

PAINTERS NEEDED - SATURDAY AUGUST 21. 9 AM - Ezra 7: 27 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
The Temple in Jerusalem was in disrepair having been destroyed years earlier by the Babylonians. When the time was right the LORD GOD put it on the heart of the king and Ezra to restore beauty to the house of God. Ezra was encouraged in his task in chapter 8 of the book of Ezra where we find that this burden spread to hundreds of men who volunteered to work alongside him to accomplish this goal.
Our Church has not been destroyed but it is in need of some beautification. That being said we will be getting together on Saturday August 21 from 9am to ? to paint the Sunday school rooms and down stairs area.
If you have painting tools by all means bring them along, if not we will provide them for you. We will be announcing future ministry opportunities like this in the TRINITY TIMES so if you can’t make it this Saturday watch for future opportunities.
We look forward to serving the body of Trinity as we serve our LORD together. See you then - Jeff Sheller
