FROM THE RECTOR

The weather reports are still coming in but I have faith that come snow or shine this weekend will be a busy one at Trinity.

First, on Saturday morning a group of men from the parish are attending the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Superbowl breakfast at the Eatontown Sheraton.   My past experience of this event has been a lineup of engaging speakers and great fellowship. I pray that all those who go to the event will be challenged and encouraged!

Later on Saturday afternoon members of Trinity's youth group and their parents and families will attend a basketball game at Monmouth University.  This has been planned for several weeks and I am encouraged to see so much interest in this event.

So is old man winter going to keep us down?  Is Pennsylvanian Punxatawny Phil going to have the last laugh?    It is, of course, in the Lord's hands.  Let us pray mightily for good weather on Saturday and that people are able to travel safely and without incident.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday (and hopefully sooner).

yours in Christ,
