EASTER  VI

May 9th,  2010

 FROM THE RECTOR

Alleluia, Christ is Risen!

Mothers Day, is right around the corner and I hope to see many mothers, grandmothers, godmothers or anyone who has a mother at Church on Sunday!  While Mother's Day is not a Church holy day, it does enjoy a place of imprortance in our culture and as a result we will honor moms this Sunday with flowers and an enhanced coffee hour after the 10:15 am Eucharist.   Don't forget to see your mom this Sunday if she's local or call her if she's at a distance or finally to pray for her if she is no longer with us.  As many of us know, parenting is a ministry and we should thankful for the moms that our Lord has put in our lives to teach us, to guide us and to love us.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday, and I thank God for all the moms of this parish !

yours in Christ,
